for the first time in a long time, i'm satisfied with everything in my life. all the bad stuff that's happened, all the shit that i've gone through. i know why they happened & i've learned to accept them. no more shame, no more anger, no more grudges.
it's like a game of tetris & the pieces represent the events in my life. the bad have cemented themselves in but there are holes. the older i get & the more things happen, the less holes there are. the more good things that happen, the less room there is for bad things.
i understand my place in this world & that's with my baby. he's made me realize so much about myself & the world that i never knew. i could never have entered this mindset without him in my life. & it scares me to think that i almost looked past him just 'cause he was odd. it feels as if i've known him forever, perhaps in a former life. he means everything to me & i can't wait to spend the rest of this life with him.<3
when you realize just how beautiful life is, things start to fall into place. you learn that bad shit happens so that the good can outshine them. you learn that some things are beyond fixing & you just have to roll with it. you learn not to put so much emphasis on the things you do that make you known. & instead focus on the things you do that make you happy. those are the things that'll get you through life. & those are the things that'll get you through death. love. life. peace.
